The Milford Higgins - For No Reason

Ok so was a big fan of these guys last release Destroyer, so pretty happy to see this Californian four piece back with a new offering. This time they have still come up with the goods, sticking with the same basic premise of the math and post hardcore vein. Having said that the sound does seem to have matured somewhat, possibly shifted slightly more to the indie end of the spectrum.. Anyways some good shit, this time being released through the plastic skull records though still able to be got there on the name the price tag. For No Reason

Ok so time for something that's as totally sweet as it is also totally free, sweet. Four piece here that nicely mix up the post hardcore with math rock, with vocals that are emo to screamo types. Really digging this vibe at the mo. So these are a four piece from California released this back in July. Anyways you should probably go check out this free gem up on the bandcamp.
