Lions - Roosevelt

New Lions! I've been waiting on this one to come out after really enjoying MTNZ
This time round the guys have cranked the math up a notch, whilst keeping the emotive feel and pop sense that made the first record sweet. Glad to be like last time, left wanting more tunes. Out on their bandcamp name the price. Roosevelt

Astronomical - Takes One To Know

These used to be the solo project of the guitarist, but have now grown into a full fledged band of four members. These play math to post rock like noodles with the vocals being in the emo type. Don't be expecting a super spaz tapping riff fest but do expect well laid out heartfelt songs, solid instrumentals with depth. Currently out for name the price on the camp. Takes One To Know

Tomorrow, St. Peter - Soft Patterns EP

So these are a Swedish band of five members and they play the math pop sort of things, indie sounding with the emoish type vocals.. think in the vein of ttng but more to the indie end of things. This is their first outing bar the demos and it's nicely done, if you nip over to their bandcamp you can grab this for the price you want. Soft Patterns EP

Lisabi - Senseless

First off thanks to Max for the heads up on these guys.
So these are quite a progressive rock affair, a six piece hailing from Brazil. This record starts off pretty relaxed, but don't let that fool you they really do break into the prog nasty. The whole record has an underlying latin feel and is also pretty funky. They top this off with some punky elements and add in the extra instrumentation of keys, sax, trumpet and samples, this all adds up to being pretty sweet. They have this up for name the price over on the bandcamp, do check them out. Senseless

Cleanup - Wherever Your Place May Be

Mostly instrumental math rock that is really quite catchy, I'd be tempted to say math pop if there were more vocals.. that would also be kind of ignoring the progressive slant running through this. Basically good and intricate without out becoming too introverted. These are a trio from Texas, they released this back in July last year.. Check um. Wherever Your Place May Be

Good Luck In Haiti - The Future Doesn't Need Us

This duo from Australia do a pretty descent job of mixing up math rock and post rock, saying that they do keep it more on the math side of things, but I tend to think that's a good thing. First outing for these and it's a good one, quite a diy sound to it (not in the poorly recorded way). will definitely be watching these for future releases expecting good things. This is out for the price you name. The Future Doesn't Need Us

Bastard Eye Scream - Jenova Drinks Colours

So this hasn't been out for long and I've already seen it posted about the place a fair bit, it's well deserved though they are really, really good. Brighton based four piece kicking out post hardcore that's mathy, and yet has a fair ammount pop sense. so good. Jenova Drinks Colours
